# Modify Order Items

To order a product, enter a quantity. You can capture items based on multiple units of measures. The system supports all logistical units that are related to a product, such as consumer units, sales units, layer, and pallets.

### Required Editions

1. On the Orders page, tap a product.
2. Make the required changes, such as change the item type, give a discount, or define a special price.
    
    The line item modification behavior is controlled by the customer extension and order item templates settings. The order of preference is controlled by customer-level settings and then order item template-level settings.
