- To proceed with inventory check-out, you must start a tour that has at least one check-out document.
- You must be assigned as a user to the start and end warehouse.
- You can edit a check-out document only when the tour is in the Running status.
Truck inventory check-out is a mandatory step for tour-based inventories and an optional step for truck or user-based inventory. For tour-based inventories, the external system must provide a check-out document that includes the expected truck inventory for the tour. The external system can provide multiple load documents. You can create a check-out document in the Consumer Goods offline mobile app and add products to the inventory.
During the start of the tour activities, you can initiate an inventory check-out document multiple times when you run out of products and reload the truck.
-
On the Tour Cockpit, select Check-out products from the Start Tour
Activities card.
On the Inventory Overview page, all the check-out documents are sorted and listed in descending order of the document creation date for the tour.
You can view documents in Initial, Released, or Canceled state.
-
Select a check-out document. Alternatively, use the search bar to search for the
check-out document with the document ID and then select the check-out document.
Products on the Product Check Out page are grouped at a brand level and are prepopulated with quantities based on the Item Presetting Policy setting set by the admin in the order template.
-
On the Product Check Out page, select a product. Alternatively, use the search bar to
perform a free text search based on Product Name, Product Number, and GTIN.
The product quantities appear in all relevant Units of Measure (UoM). The quantity for the main UoM directly appears in the product item list. The quantities for additional UoMs appear in the details area.
-
Validate the quantity and if necessary, adjust the product quantity based on the
truckload.
The system automatically shows the difference between the actual and the expected quantity for the UoM.
-
If there’s a difference between the actual and expected quantity, select the appropriate
Reason Type and tap back.
You can skip this step if the Consider Modification Reason setting is unchecked in the Order Item Template.
