# Activate General Log

Activate general log to quickly identify issues when you use your bluetooth scanner.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience in <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Enterprise</strong> Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. To open the general and key events log page, triple tap on your Consumer Goods offline mobile app.
2. Turn on **Log barcode scanner key events**.
3. To view bluetooth scanner logs, do one of these steps based on the device you’re using.

    - For an Android device: Exit the barcode scanning screen, triple tap on the Consumer Goods offline mobile app, and go to the Logs tab.
    - For an iOS device: Restart the Consumer Goods offline mobile app, triple tap the app, and then go to the Logs tab. The logs mention key orders because for iOS, key events arrive asynchronously, and the log order isn’t the order in which keys were used.
