# Start a Delivery Visit

Before you leave the warehouse and start a visit, complete all the Start Tour Activities. Until these activities are completed, you can't execute the visits in the tour.

### Required Editions

1. To start a Visit from the Tour Cockpit:
    - On the Your Visits card, from the context menu for a visit, tap **Start**
    - On the View Agenda page, from the context menu for a visit, tap **Start**.
2. Alternatively, to start a visit from the Delivery Cockpit:
    - On the Delivery Cockpit header, tap **Start Visit**.
    - On the Visit Summary card in the Delivery Cockpit, tap **Start Visit**.

After you start a visit, the status of the visit changes to In Progress and is shown on the Visit Summary card of the Delivery Cockpit. The visit status icon changes on Your Visits card of the Tour Cockpit and the Consumer Good Cloud app updates the Actual Start Time on the Visit Summary card. You can now execute the visit in progress by completing a delivery.

Note You must complete the In-progress visit before you can start another visit for the current tour. Also, at a time, you can have only one visit in progress across multiple tours.
