Create Visits from Job Lists

Plan visits based on predefined job lists. You can create visits from job lists only in Weekly view.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.

To create visits from the mobile app:

CGCloud Sales User

OR

CGCloud Retail Sales User AND CGCloud Retail User

  1. In the Weekly view, tap Menu icon.
  2. Select Plan Job Lists.
  3. Long press the job, and then drop it to a day and time of the week.
    The visit type and customer of the new visits depends on the selected job list. After you create a visit, the job list disappears from the sidebar. You can view the Execute and Complete options for the visit only after you sync the data.

The system creates a new visit based on the selected job and magnetizes all other valid job lists for the customer. The system sets the visit type and customer based on the job list. The date and time are preset based on the visit on which you dropped the job. After the visit is created, the job list disappears from the sidebar.
