# Answer Surveys While Executing Visits

Answer the surveys shown in a visit while executing the visit. You can answer the survey only in the data type that's defined in the job definition template. You can add new products to the survey list. Additionally, you can use the filter option to quickly search a product for which you need to record a survey answer.

If you’ve access to visits, you can review answered surveys for a completed visit even if the surveys aren’t valid on the current date. For example, if a survey isn’t currently valid for a visit but was valid when the visit was completed, then the system shows the surveys for the completed answers. Similarly, if a product assortment isn’t currently valid for a visit, but was valid when the visit was completed, then the system shows the surveyed products. But if a product is deleted from the database, the product isn’t shown even if it’s added to the visit survey.

1. In the Consumer Goods offline mobile app, from the store cockpit, tap **Capture Surveys**.
2. In the Products section, select a product record. You can scan a product’s barcode to quickly get a product’s detail. Use the Scan Product option to use an external scanner.
    
    The surveys for the product are shown in the Questions section.
3. Enter an answer.
4. To save the preset answer, tap **Done**.
    
    The preset answers are auto-populated.
5. Tap the back button to go to the store cockpit.
