# Create HKey Fields for Consumer Goods Objects

Create HKey fields for the Job Template and other objects before you upload files for the objects from static resources.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience in <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Enterprise</strong>, and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled</td></tr></tbody></table>

The HKey field is required for these objects:

- Data Type
- Mobile App Picklist Mapping
- Order Template
- Promotion Template
- Workflow
- Job Template

1. From Setup, go to Object Manager, and then find and select an object.
2. Click **Fields & Relationships**, and then click **New**.
3. Select **Text**.
4. Enter the field name as HKey and length as 100.
5. Enter a description.
6. Ensure that Unique isn't selected, select **External ID**, and then click **Next**.
7. For Field Level Security for Profile, select only **System Administrator**, and then click **Next**.
8. Remove all page layout selections.
9. Save your changes.
