# Associate Signature Tasks to an Action Plan Template

Add signature tasks to an action plan template so field reps can capture signatures during a visit.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in Lightning Experience in <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Enterprise</strong> Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.</td></tr></tbody></table>

1. From the App Launcher, find and open **Action Plan Templates**.
2. Select the required template.
3. Click **New Signature Task**.
4. Enter a name and description for the signature task.
5. (Optional) Enter a display order.

    Note Display order is the order in which the task is displayed for a visit.
6. If you want to make the task mandatory, select **Required**.
7. Save your changes.
