# Enable Einstein Generative AI in Consumer Goods Cloud

Before you get started with generative AI, enable Einstein in Consumer Goods Cloud from the Setup page.

### Required Editions

Turn on Einstein generative AI in Setup. See [Set Up Einstein Generative AI](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ai.generative_ai_enable.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

To turn on Einstein in Consumer Goods Cloud:

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find and select **Retail Execution Settings**.
2. Turn on **Use Einstein generative AI for Consumer Goods**.

Now that you’ve enabled Einstein generative AI in Consumer Goods Cloud, assign the required permissions to your users.
