# Create a Promotion Template

Create promotions by using promotion templates. Create one promotion template and reuse the template with multiple promotions. Promotion templates determine the type of promotion a user creates.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Promotion Templates**, and then click **New**.
2. Provide these details.

    You can use only the tactic templates that are assigned to a promotion template to create tactics.
