# Assign a Tactic Template to a Promotion Template

You can use only the tactic templates that are assigned to a promotion template to create tactics.

### Required Editions

1. From App Launcher, find and select **Promotion Templates**.
2. Select a template.
3. In the Tactic Templates related list, click **New**.
4. Search and select a tactic template, and then save your changes.
