# Assessment Indicator Definition

During a visit, you capture store data and measure store performance by using a set of parameters that are defined by using the Assessment Indicator Definitions. For example, the count of a product on a shelf, or a product facing on a shelf. You can associate an Assessment Indicator Definition (AID) with one or more assessment task types such as Product, Product Category, Promotion, Planogram, and Custom on the mobile app.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in Lightning Experience in <strong>Enterprise</strong> and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.</td></tr></tbody></table>

You can create the assessment indicator definitions with data types such as Number, Boolean, Date Time, Text, Decimal, or Picklist.

Note CG Cloud doesn’t support AIDs with Percentage and Multi-Select PickList as a data type. Consumer Goods Cloud Offline mobile app doesn't support AIDs with Picklist as a data type. You can face unexpected errors or results if you try to use or sync data having picklist AIDs on the Consumer Goods Cloud Offline mobile app.

You can use the AIDs in an Assessment Task for a Product, Product Category, Promotion, Planogram, or Custom task on the mobile or desktop app.
