Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled

At the start of the day, perform these activities:

  • Identify a tour from the list of tours (tour schedule) on the driver's cockpit.
  • Start the tour from the tour cockpit. The system tracks the time at the start of the tour.
  • Review tour and vehicle details.
  • Provide the vehicle start odometer reading.
  • Check out inventory from the warehouse.
  • Driver Cockpit on the Consumer Goods Offline Mobile App
Identify and select a tour by using the driver's cockpit, which is the landing page on the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app. The system syncs tours from the current day and tours from + or - 1 working day at the start of the day and shows the tours in the driver’s cockpit. All data syncs apart from the start-of-day sync are configurable depending on sync settings that the admin sets in the tour and order template.
  • Tour Cockpit on the Consumer Goods Offline Mobile App
Use the Tour Cockpit to view a tour for review or start a tour for tour execution. The Tour Cockpit shows tour-related information such as visits, tour messages, inventory check-out, delivery, inventory check-in documents, and other tour-related activities.
  • Considerations for Tours at Start-of-Day in Consumer Goods Cloud Offline Mobile App
Keep these considerations in mind when you as a delivery driver or van sales driver carry out the start-of-the-day activities for a tour on the Consumer Goods offline mobile app.
