# Release and Submit an Order

To release an order, from the order header, tap Release.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience in <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Enterprise</strong>, and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled</td></tr></tbody></table>

If you selected Recalculation Required in an order template, you can choose to recalculate the order automatically before the system releases it. Ensure that you validate these conditions:

- Order is in Initial state.
- Order Calculation Time isn’t empty or has the current date.
- Order Document Transaction Type isn’t equal to Non-Valuated Delivery Note.

You can submit an order for approval only if you selected the value of Release Platform as All in the order template.
