# Capture Signatures in an Order

Signatures are used when a customer or store manager confirms and releases an order. If an order template has an assigned signature template, when you release an order, the system initiates the process to capture the store manager’s signature.

### Required Editions

Ensure that the order isn’t in the Released status.

Note If signature steps aren’t defined for signature templates, the system releases the order, without showing the signature page.

Get the store manager’s signature, and tap **confirm**.

You can add a single store manager’s signature to an order. You can multiple signature by configuring multiple signature steps, one for each signature to include other signatures

The system stores the captured signatures on a device, and syncs them with an order. You can also view the captured signatures on the mobile device from the Release Info tab of an order.
