Use our Assortment Management feature to create groups of products and associate the group with stores.
For example, as a Consumer Goods company, you offer 1,000 products. But, NTO stores sell only 400 of your products. To make things easier to manage, you can create an assortment and add these 400 products to the assortment.
Assortments are different from product categories. A product category is an item, for example, beverages. An assortment can have products from different product categories. You can use product assortments for both Retail Execution and Trade Promotion Management (TPM). But, depending on the record type, the features available for product assortment can vary. For example, category segregation is available only for TPM.
- Manage Advanced Product Assortments
Use the Assortment Management feature to manage your assortments more easily. - Manage Product Assortments
If you use the Consumer Goods Winter ’22 data model or earlier, you can only create an assortment, add products to an assortment, and associate the assortment with a store. When an assortment is associated with a store, it’s referred to as store assortment. Products from a store assortment are available to order when an order is created for the store. We recommend that you associate an assortment at the store group level. If you have an assortment at the store group level and another assortment at the store level, the store level assortment takes precedence. - Edit Products of an Assortment
Edit and manage product assortments efficiently. You can edit multiple products and up to 5,500 fields in the products grid at a time.
