# Calendar Planning

Depending on the market and different sales and service teams, you can use different visit planning approaches. The management team can fully drive the planning process based on the defined planning criteria or predefined trip list, but sales reps can also plan visits. With the option to plan visits, as a sales rep, you can adjust your visit schedule for a day or a week. Common planning options are planning with integrated trip lists or job lists, or creating unplanned visits to accommodate a plan or a customer.

For a sales rep, calendar planning offers the flexibility to plan better. Apart from business appointments, you can also plan your personal commitments, such as a vacation or a doctors' appointment. You can provide better customer service and improve customer satisfaction because you can react flexibly and promptly to customer needs.

Sales reps and sales managers can plan visits. They can do these activities:

- Manage visits based on trip lists
- Plan visits based on predefined activities
- Create visits by using automatic visit planning
- Delete visits generated via automatic visits planning for themselves or for their subordinates. You can delete visits, except completed visits, if **Delete Allowed** is selected in the visit template..
- Create visits by using barcode scan
- Review all scheduled visits
- Review additional information such as address details and related activities of visits
- Identify different visit types and status of visits by using color codes or icons
- Filter options to focus only on remaining visits or on a complete plan
