# On Demand Visit Creation

Sales reps must be flexible to accommodate new visit requests either due to changes in the business scenario or to cater to a prioritized customer or urgent activities. To accommodate these requests, sales reps must set up on-demand visits.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: Lightning Experience in <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Enterprise</strong>, and <strong>Unlimited</strong> Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.</td></tr></tbody></table>

Situations in which a sales rep must create an on-demand visit are:

- Unfinished or open calls from the previous day
- Incoming customer requests
- Unplanned substitutions
- Opening of a new store

You can create new visits either by using the user cockpit or from the Calendar. You can also add new visits in the current visit schedule by using map-based planning.

The roles and responsibilities of a user to create an on-demand visit are:

- Sales reps: They can create visits:
    - For nearby customers based on the location of the user
    - For substitution customers
    - Based on job lists
- Supervisors: They can create visits for sales reps.
