Transfer promotions, tactics, tactic products, and files from Trade Promotion Management to Retail Execution in bulk by running or scheduling the PromotionTransferBatch process.
Required Editions
Run the batch process via the developer console or schedule the batch process.
The batch process configuration name for the transfer process is ‘PromotionTransferBatch’.

Schedule the promotion transfer batch per sales organization through an apex class by using
the apex scheduler. Example: cgcloud.PromotionTransferBatch('0001')
Run the batch process with the sales organization of the TPM promotion and monitor its status in the Apex jobs section under Setup. After completion, you can view the batch summary on the Batch Run Status page or through the notifications for the configured admin user.
Considerations for transfer of promotions through batch processing:
- The default batch size is 8.
- Only the updated promotions (TPM promotion’s version field value is greater than the value in the retail promotion’s last transfer version field) are picked for transfer.
- You can transfer a maximum of 20,000 promotions through a single batch.
- Promotions are picked in a round-robin manner when the number of promotions picked for transfer exceed the limit of 20,000. Promotions are processed in the sort order of SystemModstamp of the promotions. SystemModStamp is similar to the last modified date. Older promotions are processed first. The SystemModStamp of the last promotion processed by the batch is stored in the Last Run field. During the next batch run, the batch process processes the promotions where the SystemModStamp is after the Last Run. The promotion transfer batch doesn't pick promotions that are transfer-relevant when Last Run is after the promotion’s SystemModStamp.
- You can't schedule a promotion transfer batch through the schedule apex UI. Use the developer console to run it manually or schedule it.
The promotions transferred through a batch process are synced with the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app based on the existing synchronization rules.
