Job Lists

Job lists are a group of questions and surveys that are associated with a product and are applicable for a period. For event-driven activities, job lists are created using a batch process. You can use job lists to plan and to create visits.

When you add a customer or a customer set to an activity, the job list created for the activity is applicable to all the customers.

The automatic activity-activation process updates job lists after every modification of an activity. The process considers the managers who have active management relation with the customer if the management validity period overlaps with the activity validity period. The consideration of managers depends on the setting of the Default Management Type and User Policy options in the relevant activity.

A new job list is added to visits if these conditions are met:

  • The visit date falls within the validity period of the activity.
  • The user assigned to a job list is the same as the user responsible for the visit.
  • The visit template in the job list is the same as the visit template that's used for creating the visit.
  • The customer assigned to a job list is the same as the customer for whom the visit is created.

The job lists that aren’t added to any visit can be used by supervisors and sales reps for visit planning. Unlike standard activities where questions and surveys of an activity can be answered multiple times during the validity period of the activity, questions and surveys added in a job list can be answered only one time.

  • Update Job Lists
After you create an event-driven activity, you can manually add the job list to scheduled visits. If no scheduled visits exist, you can use the job lists to plan and to create future visits.
  • Demagnetize Job Lists
Demagnetization is the disassociation of a job list from a visit.
