# Prerequisites for Penny Perfect Pricing

Before you use Penny Perfect Pricing, you must complete a few tasks such as schedule the pricing worker batch, configure translations for picklist values, configure customer data, and populate data in the Complex Pricing Condition object.

### Required Editions

To use the Penny Perfect Pricing feature, complete these prerequisites.

- **[Run the Pricing Worker Batch](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cg_concept_admin_schedule_pppserver.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    To have the latest pricing conditions in the system, schedule the `ScheduleCGCloudServiceComplexPricing` APEX class that condenses information from complex pricing tables and creates pricing conditions as JSON text.
- **[Add Picklist Values to the Order Template Object](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cg_task_admin_add_picklist_order_template.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    Make sure that you have the required picklist values for the Compute Price field in Order Template.
- **[Configure Translations for Order Template Picklist Values](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cg_task_admin_add_translation_picklist_values.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    Add translations for the picklist values in the Compute Price field in the Order Template object.
- **[Set Attribute Values in Order Template](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cg_concept_admin_map_attributes.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    To use Penny Perfect Pricing for orders, make sure that these attributes are set in the Order Template object.
- **[Configure Customer Data for Penny Perfect Pricing](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cg_concept_configure_customer_data.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    Before placing orders with Penny Perfect Pricing, configure customer data to organize the account roles and account trade org hierarchy.
- **[Populate Hash Values in the Complex Pricing Condition Object](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.cg_task_admin_update_pricing_condition_object.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**  
    To populate or update the correct hash values (merge key, pricing condition template, and key type) in the `TemplateKeyTypeMergedKeyHash__c` column for pricing condition records, run the manual batch process. This process is a one-time activity.
