Advanced Order Limitations on Consumer Goods Cloud Desktop App
These limitations apply to advanced orders on the Consumer Goods Cloud desktop app:
- The Penny Perfect Pricing (PPP) engine shares values in an order’s calculation schema. However, using pricing info fields 1–10 as input on desktop orders isn’t supported.
- The pricing layer and business logic extensibility are disconnected. The PPP engine doesn't recognize changes made through business logic extensibility. Calculation updates in the PPP layer aren't shared with business logic extensibility on the desktop orders.
- Add Pricing Information Fields to Desktop Orders
Show the pricing fields from the Penny Perfect Pricing (PPP) engine on desktop orders by adding the pricing fields to your order pages. To do this, use order UI extensibility. - Pricing Information Fields Persisted for Desktop Orders
The Penny Perfect Pricing (PPP) engine pricing fields are saved to the database for consumption in the desktop order experience. Based on the calculation schema, these values are calculated by PPP engine.
