# Activate a Compliance Control

The Compliance Officer reviews the control implementation and activates the control.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Process Compliance Navigator**.
2. From the navigation bar, select **Compliance Controls**, and then select a record.
3. On the Related tab, in the Compliance Control Versions related list, click the name of the control.
4. Review the implementation of the control. Update the status to **Active**.
5. Save your changes.
