# Map Compliance Policy Clause Version to Its Policy Version and Regulation Clause Version

To ensure traceability and consistency with regulatory requirements, compliance officers map compliance policy clause versions to multiple compliance policy versions and regulation clause versions. Mapping of records facilitates efficient updates when regulations change and helps maintain accountability. Additionally, it supports audit readiness and clear communication with stakeholders about compliance obligations.

1. From the App Launcher, find and select **Process Compliance Navigator**.
2. From the navigation bar, select **Compliance Policy Clause Version**.
3. Open the required compliance policy clause version record page and navigate to Compliance Policy Compliance Policy Clause Versions in the Related tab.
4. Click **New**.
5. Select the compliance policy version that you want to map the compliance policy clause version with.
    
    There can be multiple draft and retired compliance policy clause versions associated with the compliance policy clause and its mapped compliance policy version.
6. Save your changes.
7. Navigate to the Regulation Clause Version Compliance Policy Clause Versions in the Related tab and click **New**.
8. Select the regulation clause version that you want to map the compliance policy clause version with.
    
    There can be multiple draft and retired regulation clause versions associated with the compliance policy clause and its mapped compliance policy version.
9. Save your changes.

The compliance officer publishes compliance policy version and all the mapped compliance policy clause versions for control managers, business process representatives, and policy owners to access.
