Important If you use custom fields in your decision table, you can’t
migrate the table from one Salesforce org to another using Package Manager in a single
step.
Note Before deploying changes to the metadata of a decision table
in an org where the decision table already exists, you must deactivate the decision table in
the target org. Ensure that you use separate deployment steps to remove a decision table
parameter, and activate the decision table.
Note After you upload a CSV file to a CSV-based decision table in the target org, you can't deploy changes to the metadata of that decision table.
Here’s how you can migrate decision tables that use custom fields:
- First, migrate the custom fields in your decision table to the target org by using Package Manager.
- Next, verify that the custom fields are present in the target org.
- Finally, migrate the decision table by using Package Manager.
