# Billing Start Month

The billing start month indicates the month when billing begins for an annual subscription. For example, if billing starts in January, the value is 1; if billing starts in June, the value is 6.

### Required Editions

## Eligibility Conditions for Updating Billing Start Month

The billing start month can be updated only if these conditions are met:

- The billing term unit of the billing schedule group must be Semi-Annual or Quarter.
- The billing method of the billing schedule group can't be Usage.
