Appraisal adjustments can be approved in two ways.

- Self-approval: Sales reps can approve an appraisal adjustment by themselves by changing the status of the appraisal adjustment to Approved.
- Approval process: If your org has an approval process for appraisal adjustments, sales reps can use the process to get adjustments approved. See [Approval Processes](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=platform.what_are_approvals.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

Adjustment records once approved, cannot be edited or deleted. Only approved adjustment records are rolled up to the Total Adjustment Value fields in the appraisal or appraisal item records.
