# Verify Vehicle Associated Asset Documents for Repossession

Confirm legal ownership of a repossessed vehicle by verifying its title document, optionally with AI-assisted data extraction.

To use Save and Extract, enable AI-Powered Document Validation, which requires the Einstein for Automotive license (which turns on the AI-Powered Document Validation org permission) and Data Cloud. Save and Extract extracts and validates title-document data with AI, so you don't enter it manually. Also configure the document types, document categories, and document validation definition that title extraction uses, and assign the permission sets that title verification and extraction require. Industries Repossession Management lets specialists verify titles and run extraction. The Automotive Foundation User and Document Checklist permission sets are also prerequisites. This shared capability uses Einstein generative AI and Document AI, which consume credits. 1. On the Repossession record, select the **Collateral** tab.
2. Locate the vehicle, and on the **Associated Asset Documents** card, click **New**.
3. Select the Document Type and Document Category.
4. Upload the title document.
5. Submit the document.
    1. If AI-Powered Document Validation is enabled, click **Save and Extract**, review the extracted data, and then save.
    2. If it isn't enabled, click **Submit**.
6. Confirm that the document is listed on the Associated Asset Documents card with the correct status.

The validated title document is tracked on the Associated Asset Documents card; there's no separate verified-title record or card.
