# Assign Icons to Collection Plan Milestone Types

Assign an icon to each Collection Plan milestone type so notice milestones are recognizable on the collection plan.

### Required Editions

Collection Plan Milestone ships with no Milestone Type values, so complete [Add Milestone Type Values for Collection Plan Milestones](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=ind.auto_repossession_add_milestone_type_values.htm&type=5&language=en_US) before you start this task. Add any milestone types beyond the notice types you configured there directly on the Milestone Type field.

1. From **Setup**, in the Quick Find box, enter **Events and Milestones**, and then select **Events and Milestones**.
2. Select the **Collection Plan Milestone** object type.
3. For each milestone type, click **Change Icon** and assign an icon.
4. Save your changes.

Each Collection Plan milestone type has an icon. Next, add the Milestone component to the Collection Plan record page.
