# Assessments for Repossession

Add assessment templates to a Repossession and apply them to the whole Repossession or to specific repossession items.

A specialist uses Discovery Framework assessment templates to evaluate a Repossession at two scopes. Common assessments apply to the whole repossession, such as legal-compliance checks. Item assessments apply to a specific vehicle, such as a title or financial-viability check. A specialist can add a template at either scope. Adding one template to multiple targets creates a separate assessment for each combination.

Note Before specialists can add assessments, an admin imports the Discovery Framework assessment templates and adds the Repossession Assessment Panel to the Repossession record page in Lightning App Builder, with the common and item-level Type and Sub Type filters set to those templates. On the Repossession record, the Common Assessments panel groups the assessments that apply to the whole Repossession. A section for each repossession item follows. Each section separates the assessments added from the templates still available to add, and shows each assessment's status and date.
