Add the Assessments Component to the Repossession Record Page

Give specialists the panel where they add and complete pre-repossession assessments, and point it at the assessment templates that apply to the whole Repossession and to each vehicle.

Import and activate the Discovery Framework assessment templates you need. Because Discovery Framework assessments are OmniProcesses, each template has an OmniProcess Type and Sub Type. The prebuilt Repossession record page includes an Assessments tab with the Repossession Assessment Panel. Even so, set the panel's filters to point to your own assessment templates. If you use a custom or cloned record page, add the panel first. See Assessments for Repossession and Discovery Framework.

  1. Open your Repossession record page in Lightning App Builder.
    Repeat these steps for the Repossession Item page if you want per-item assessments there too.
  2. Drag the Repossession Assessment Panel component onto the page.
  3. To show assessments that apply to the whole Repossession, set Common Type Filter and Common Sub Type Filter to the OmniProcess Type and Sub Type of the common assessment templates.
  4. To show assessments that apply to individual vehicles, set Item Type Filter and Item Sub Type Filter to the OmniProcess Type and Sub Type of the item-level templates.
  5. Optionally, use OmniProcess Fields to choose which columns appear in the assessment library.
  6. Save the page, and activate it if it isn't already.

The Common Assessments panel and a section for each Repossession Item appear on the record page, showing the templates that match your filters. Set both the Type and the Sub Type in a pair, or that section shows no assessments.
