# Manage Active Repossession and Recovery Agencies in Automotive Cloud

Once a case is approved, a specialist assigns one or more third-party vendors to each vehicle item and tracks progress as vehicles are brought in. This release covers vendor assignment and tracking.

### Required Editions

After approval, a specialist assigns one or more recovery agencies to each repossession item and coordinates recovery. Recovery agencies are modeled from existing Salesforce records—partner accounts with a Business Profile whose Business Partner Type is Recovery Agency.
