Create a Salesforce approval process on Repossession Item, with the approval steps and assignees your business requires. For how to build the approval process, see Set Up an Approval Process.

Salesforce ships Submit Repossession Items for Approval as an inactive reference flow. It submits every Repossession Item on a Repossession to an approval process, skipping items already submitted.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
  2. Open Submit Repossession Items for Approval.
  3. Clone the flow.
Salesforce ships it as an inactive reference flow, so you activate your own copy rather than the shipped version.
  4. Create or edit another screen flow that calls your cloned flow as a subflow, at the point in your process when items are ready for review.
  5. Save and activate both flows.
  6. Add the screen flow to the Repossession record page.
    1. From Object Manager, open the Repossession object, and then select Buttons, Links, and Actions.
    2. Click New Action.
    3. For Action Type, select Flow, and then select the screen flow that you activated.
    4. Enter a label for the action, such as Submit for Approval, and then save the action.
    5. Select Page Layouts, and then open the Repossession layout.
    6. In the palette, select Mobile & Lightning Actions, and drag the action into the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.
    7. Save the layout.

Repossession Items are submitted to your approval process. Reviewers see the decision history on the Approval History related list of each Repossession Item.
