# Get Started with Remote Actions for Vehicles

Before you start using Remote Actions for Vehicles, review the product navigation.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find, and select **Salesforce Go**.
2. Enter Remote Actions for Vehicles in the Search field, and select **Remote Actions for Vehicles**.
3. Click **Set Up**.
    
    Users can choose between a Standard Installation, which automatically installs all solutions, or a Custom Installation to select specific features within the bundle to install.
4. For a Standard Installation, click **Start**, and then click **Install**.
    1. The installation automates configuration by enabling features such as Automotive Foundation, Actionable Event Orchestration, Vehicle Connected Service, Vehicle Console, and Telemetry Definition and Action Management.
    2. The installation also validates and installs sample data, such as Account, Product, Vehicle, Vehicle Definition, and Asset records.
    3. If the installation fails, to view the logs, click **View Error Log** on the Remote Actions for Vehicles page. If the problem persists, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
5. For a Custom Installation, click **Start**.
    1. For the required features, choose to install sample data by selecting **Include Sample Data**.
    2. For the optional features, select the features you wish to set up, select **Include Sample Data** for the available features, if needed, and then click **Next**.
    3. Click **Install**.
6. Post the installation, configure these steps to finish setting up the remote action templates by clicking **Go to Setup**.
    1. Generate Telemetry Definition and Action Management service processes.

    2. Connect your Salesforce and MuleSoft instances.
    3. Create a named credential.
    4. Create integration definitions.
