Example

Neo Motors is launching a new model, Neo Jazz, in two variants, CLX and PLXi.

Neo Motors procures components such as suspensions, axles, pistons, windows, and wheels from various tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers. The new program is tracked at a vehicle model and variant level.

The engineering manager at Neo Motors can collaborate with the suppliers to plan for component requirements for each model and each variant. They can also plan for the forecasts to be captured at a granular level, based on territory.

After the forecasts are generated, Neo Motors and the supplier representatives can adjust and update the quantities as needed, and convert the program into a new opportunity.
