# Install the Automotive Data Kit

A data kit helps you easily package Data Cloud components such as data model objects, data streams, and calculated insights, and then readily deploy the components in an org of your choice. You can install the Datakit Package for Automotive Cloud in your org, deploy the data streams, and activate the calculated insights.

### Required Editions

Make sure that you’re logged in to the Salesforce org where you want to install the package. You must have both Automotive Cloud and Data Cloud enabled in your org and the Salesforce Standard Data Model package of version 1.46 or later must be available in your org.

1. In a browser, enter the installation URL: [https://sf-industries.my.salesforce-sites.com/autoclouddatakitv2](https://sf-industries.my.salesforce-sites.com/autoclouddatakitv2).
2. Enter your username and password for the Salesforce org where you want to install the package, and then click **Log In**.
3. Select the audience for the installation.
    
    For example, **Install for Admins Only**.
4. Click **Install**.
    
    The installation takes a while. You can safely leave this page. You receive an email when the installation is complete.
5. Click **Done**.

To verify that the package was installed, go to Installed Packages in Setup, and look for the name of the package.
