# Modify Days to Warranty Expiry

Analytics for Automotive categorizes the vehicles as warranty expiring if the warranty expiry date is less than a specific number of days. By default, the value is 60 days. You can modify the default value based on your business needs.

### Required Editions

To modify the default value:

1. Open the **Vehicle Portfolio Insights** dashboard.
2. Open the JSON editor (Use Cmd + E keys for Mac or Ctrl + E keys for Windows).
3. Search **Warranty\_KPI\_1** in steps.
4. In the Warranty\_KPI\_1 step definition, find the filters section within the columns object.
5. In the filters section, find the **WarrantyDaysToExpire** filter and replace 60 with required number of days.
6. Search for **Vehicle\_Warranty\_1** step
7. In the query object of the Vehicle\_Warranty\_1 step definition, find the section that contains the text \[."60 days ago"\].
8. Replace 60 with required number of days.
9. Click **Done**.
10. Click **Save**.
