# Get Started with Actionable Event Orchestration for Connected Vehicles

Before you start using Actionable Event Orchestration for Connected Vehicles, review the product navigation.

### Required Editions

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find, and select **Salesforce Go**.
2. Enter Actionable Event Orchestration for Connected Vehicles in the Search field, and select **Actionable Event Orchestration for Connected Vehicles**.
3. Click **Set Up**.
    
    Users can choose between a Standard Installation, which automatically installs all solutions, or a Custom Installation to select specific features within the bundle to install.
4. For a Standard Installation, click **Start**, and then click **Install**.
    1. The installation automates configuration by enabling features such as Automotive Foundation, Actionable Event Orchestration, Vehicle Connected Service, Context Service, and Appointment Scheduling.
    2. The installation validates and installs sample data, such as Account, Product, Vehicle, Vehicle Definition, and Asset records.
    3. The installation also validates and installs necessary metadata, such as context definitions, expression set definitions, and flows.
    4. If the installation fails, to view the logs, click **View Error Log** on the Actionable Event Orchestration for Connected Vehicles page. If the problem persists, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
5. For a Custom Installation, click **Start**.
    1. For the required features, choose to install sample data by selecting **Include Sample Data**.
    2. For the optional features, select the features you wish to set up, select **Include Sample Data** for the available features, if needed, and then click **Next**.
    3. Click **Install**.
6. Post the installation, configure these steps to finish setting up the actionable event orchestration templates by clicking **Go to Setup**.
    
    Make sure to enable the Connected Service Active checkbox on your vehicle records, once the solution is installed.
    
    1. Refresh the Filter and Match Actionable Event Orchestrations decision table.
