# Track Your License or Permit Application Status

Follow the progress of an application that you submitted, and see whether a reviewer returned it to you.

The page groups your applications into tabs for submitted, returned, and draft applications. Each tab has a list view picker, which holds further views for active, closed, and all application forms.

1. Log in to the Applicant Portal.
2. From **My Dashboard**, select **View License and Permit Status**.
    
    The View the Status of a License or Permit page opens.
3. Select the tab that lists your submitted applications.
4. Open an application to see its current stage and details.
5. If a reviewer returned an application, select the tab that lists your returned applications.
    
    Open the application to see the reason it came back, correct the information, and then resubmit it.

Your agency defines the stages that an application moves through, so the stages that you see depend on how your admin set them up. These stages are typical.

 
| Stage | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Submitted | You submitted the application, and a reviewer hasn't accepted it yet. |
| Application Accepted | A reviewer accepted the application for processing. |
| In Progress | A reviewer is processing the application. |
| Inspection Phase | An inspection is under way. |
| Inspection Completed | The inspection finished. |
| Rejected | A reviewer rejected the application. |
| Approved | A reviewer approved the application. |
