# Turn On Slack Notifications for Approvals

Connect Salesforce to your Slack workspace so that users can receive and act on approval requests in Slack.

### Required Editions

Before you begin, [connect a Salesforce org to your Slack workspace](https://slack.com/help/articles/30754346665747-Connect-Salesforce-and-Slack).

1. From Setup, find and select **Approval Settings**.
2. Turn on Notify Reviewers on Slack.
3. Turn on Notify Submitters on Slack.
