# Considerations for Approvals in Slack

Keep these considerations in mind when working with approvals in Slack.

### Required Editions

- Slack channel notifications for approval requests are only available in Advanced Approvals.
- If an assigned group or queue has no active members, Slack notifications aren't sent for that step.
- AI-generated summaries from Dynamic Approval Notifications are not included in channel posts.
- When an approval work item is completed, you can't review again regardless of the channel used.
- Delegates don’t receive approval notifications in Slack.
- For Flow Approval Processes, Slack notifications for groups and queues are supported for up to 100 active members. If the group or queue exceeds this limit, no members receive a Slack notification for that step. This limit doesn't apply to unanimous group approval steps in Advanced Approvals.
