# Create a Service Case Record Type

Add a health-specific record type to your service case object to store the data that your flow generates.

### Required Editions

1. From the object management settings for cases, go to Record Types and click **New**.
2. To use an existing record type, select a value from the Existing Record Type picklist.
    
    To use the default record type, select **Master**.
3. For **Record Type Label**, enter Service Case.
4. The Record Type Name field is autopopulated. Keep it as is.
5. For **Support Process**, select Healthcare.
6. Provide a description of the record type and select **Active** to put it to work.
7. Select **Make Available** to assign the record type to profiles, and click **Next**.
8. In Apply one layout to all profiles, select the page layout where you want to add the record type. For example, Case Layout.
9. Save your changes.
