# Speed Up Account Contact Relationship Calculations

The Use Standard Trigger metadata type for Account Contact Relationship Triggers speeds up relationship calculations for Accounts and Contacts.

### Required Editions

1. On the Custom Metadata Types page in Setup, click **Manage Records** next to **Use Standard Trigger**.
2. Click **Edit** next to **Account Contact Relationship Trigger**.
3. On the Use Standard Trigger (Managed) page, turn on the **Active** checkbox.
4. Save your changes.
