Maintain Product Fields in Calculation Grids

Add or remove Product information fields from the calculation grids.

Required Editions

You can configure these Lightning web components:

  • Promotion Card - P&L grid
  • Promotion Card - Volume Planning grid
  • Tactic Card - Spend Planning components

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Trade Promotion Management.
  2. Click Advanced Promotion, and then select a promotion.
  3. Go to Setup and click Edit Page.
  4. In Lightning Page Builder, click a component, and in the Product Fields to display in card field, add an array to show fields in the component.
    Here’s an example of an array.
    [ // An Array
      "Consumer_Goods_Product_Code__c", // A Product2 SObject Field to display
                // Column label is extracted from SObject metadata
                // This field will be displayed before the expandable field
      [ // array for the expandable field
        "Description_1__c", // Field name of the field that will be rendered as expandable
                            // with the arrow on left side to expand/collapse
        "expandable" // The "expandable" string indicates the component which field to use
                      // for expansion
      ],
      "GTIN__c" // Additional field to display after the expandable field
    ]

    Keep these considerations in mind:

    • Ensure that the fields are Product2 fields.
    • You can’t add any lookup traversals. For example, MyLookup__r.MyField__c.
    • Ensure that the fields in the cgcloud namespace don't have a namespace. For example, cgcloud__GTIN__c is specified as GTIN__c.

    We recommend that you show the expandable field as the first field on the Promotion Card - PL Grid. To enable this feature conditionally, use the Lightning Page Builder Component Visibility Filter feature with multiple component instances shown conditionally based on the User or Record fields.
