# Reassign the Scheduled Jobs that Generate an Automatic Sitemap Refresh

To generate an automatic sitemap refresh, Salesforce uses an automated process called scheduled jobs. An automatic sitemap refresh requires two scheduled jobs that are associated with the account of the user who most recently published that site. If that user’s account is deactivated, the scheduled jobs can’t run, and your sitemap no longer refreshes automatically. To resume automatic sitemap refreshes, reassign the scheduled jobs that refresh the sitemap to an active or automated user account.

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Scheduled Jobs, and then select **Scheduled Jobs**.
2. Find the scheduled jobs with job names that start with CommIncrementalSitemapJob or CommSitemapJob and that list the inactive user in the Submitted By column.
3. Next to the `CommIncrementalSitemapJob` and `CommSitemapJob` scheduled jobs submitted by the inactive user, click **Del**.
4. Republish all sites for which you deleted the scheduled jobs.

The scheduled jobs are associated with the user who republishes the site. When you associate the scheduled jobs with an automated user account, you ensure that a deactivated user account can’t affect your automatic sitemap refreshes again.

To associate the scheduled jobs with an automated user account of an active user, after you delete the scheduled jobs, visit the site’s sitemap.xml file. To view the sitemap.xml file, navigate to https://site\_URL/s/sitemap.xml for Aura sites or https://site\_URL/sitemap.xml for LWR sites.

If you have more than one site, repeat these steps for all `CommIncrementalSitemapJob` and `CommSitemapJob` scheduled jobs that list the inactive user in the Submitted By column.
