# Access Experience Cloud Sites in the Salesforce Mobile App

Accessing Experience Cloud sites from the Salesforce mobile app depends on several factors, including the type of template used to create the site and the licenses and permissions of site users.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience</td></tr><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in: <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Performance</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, and <strong>Developer</strong> Editions</td></tr></tbody></table>

## Grant the Necessary Permissions

Make sure that site users can access the Salesforce mobile app.

- Verify that the mobile app is enabled for your org (default) or enable it. From Setup, enter Settings in the Quick Find box, then select **Salesforce Settings**.
- Allow site access via the Salesforce mobile app by granting the “API Enabled” profile permission to external users with communities licenses. From Setup, enter Profiles in the Quick Find box, then select **Profiles**. Select **Edit** on a profile to add the profile permission.

## Salesforce Tabs + Visualforce Sites

Sites that use the Salesforce Tabs + Visualforce template aren’t supported in the Salesforce mobile app.

## Aura and LWR Sites

Experience Builder sites aren't supported in the Salesforce mobile app.

We recommend that you create and distribute a fully branded mobile app version of your Experience Cloud sites using Mobile Publisher. Users can also access Experience Builder sites from a [supported mobile browser](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.networks_communities_browser_support.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Browser support for Experience Cloud sites varies by the device that you access the site from and the site template.") using the site URL.

## Experience Management, Experience Workspaces, and Experience Builder

Experience Management and Experience Workspaces aren’t available. We recommend that you use the [supported browsers on desktop computers](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.networks_communities_browser_support.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Browser support for Experience Cloud sites varies by the device that you access the site from and the site template.") to make customizations in Experience Management, Experience Workspaces, and Experience Builder.

Experience Cloud sites in the Salesforce mobile app are similar to the Lightning Experience desktop site, with some differences.
