# Record Recommendations

Following records helps keep you up-to-date on important changes to accounts, contacts, opportunities, and more.

### Required Editions

Chatter recommends records that you've viewed or edited, records that you own (but aren't following), and parent accounts of records that you're following.

Chatter doesn't recommend records that your Salesforce administrator has disabled feed tracking for. Only opportunities, accounts, leads, contacts, and articles are included in record recommendations.

To see an expanded list of your recommendations, click **More** in the Recommendations section. To see your record recommendations by object, click the object in the side filters. For example, click **Accounts** to view only your account recommendations.

If no recommendations appear, then you're already following all the recommended records.
