# Chatter Group Limitations in the Salesforce Mobile App

There are limitations when you use the Groups feature in the Salesforce mobile app.

### Required Editions

<table class="slds-table slds-table_bordered slds-max-medium-table_stacked slds-m-bottom_small edition"><colgroup><col></colgroup><tbody><tr class=""><td class="slds-cell-wrap" style="vertical-align:top;">Available in <strong>Essentials</strong>, <strong>Group</strong>, <strong>Professional</strong>, <strong>Enterprise</strong>, <strong>Performance</strong>, <strong>Unlimited</strong>, <strong>Developer</strong>, and <strong>Contact Manager</strong> editions.</td></tr></tbody></table>

When using groups in the Salesforce mobile app, you can’t:

- See live feed updates.
- Invite customers to join private customer groups.
- Add records to Chatter groups with customers using the **Add Record** action.
- Withdraw requests for joining private groups.
- Change email and in-app notification settings for groups in Experience Cloud sites.
- See or customize group member engagement data.
- Share files with a group unless you’re a member or admin (iOS only)

Group owners and managers can’t remove files from the group files list.
