# View Chatter Group Memberships

In Salesforce Classic, the Groups list on your profile shows you the Chatter groups that you belong to.

### Required Editions

By default, the list is sorted by the most recent activity date. On the Groups tab, you can join or create groups. You can also view the Groups list on other people's profiles to see their group memberships. On other people’s profiles, you can see unlisted group memberships only if you’re also a member of the unlisted group.

- To view the full list in alphabetical order, click **Show All**.
- To see more of the list, use the **Next** and **Previous** links.
- To leave a group or withdraw a request to join, click ![blue X button](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-experience-collaboration-264-0-0-production-enus/1aab5b5e-c990-4b8c-840a-6fb18af49709/collaboration/images/eop_following_on.png).
- To join a public group on another person's groups list, click **Join**.
- To send a request to join a private group on another person's groups list, click **Ask to Join**.
