# Delete a Chatter Stream from the Streams Home Page

The streams home page lists all your streams, and each row provides a set of actions that you can perform on the listed stream. Actions include the **Delete** action. Deleting a Chatter stream doesn’t delete the records or posts that it contains. It deletes only the stream, which frees up space for adding new streams.

### Required Editions

1. On the Chatter home page, click the Streams heading to open the streams home page.

2. On the row that lists the stream you want to delete, click the ![Actions icon on a stream row](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-experience-collaboration-264-0-0-production-enus/1aab5b5e-c990-4b8c-840a-6fb18af49709/collaboration/images/help_collab_streams_rowactionicon.png) menu icon, and select **Delete**.
3. In the Delete dialog, click **Delete**.
